COUP MARKS is an inter-tribal cooperative comprised of Native American and other artists and craftsmen living on the Flathead Indian Reservation in Montana. The name COUP MARKS, symbolizes the individual artist’s mark on their work in the same sense as the Plains Indian’s historic practice of counting coup (making their mark).

PRESERVING TRADITION. Our objectives at COUP MARKS include providing marketing possibilities to Reservation artists and craftsmen, encouraging the production of traditional arts and craft products and preserving cultural traditions.
